Workmanship Warranty

Twelve months on every repair we carry out. What that covers, what it does not, and how to make a claim.

Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER — set on publication]

What is covered

For twelve months from the date of completion, we will put right at no cost any defect in our workmanship on the area we repaired. That includes paint that lifts, peels, cracks or fails to adhere, a repaired dent that reappears under normal use, and a refinished wheel whose finish fails.

The warranty follows the vehicle rather than the owner, so it survives a sale.

What is not covered

New damage of any kind, including fresh impacts, scratches, stone chips and vandalism. Wear or failure on panels we did not repair. Damage caused by accident, misuse, automated car washes with abrasive brushes within thirty days of the repair, or chemical exposure.

Colour match on a vehicle whose existing paint has already faded unevenly is matched to the surrounding panel as it is on the day, not to the original factory shade.

Aftercare in the first thirty days

Fresh paint continues to cure after the technician leaves. For thirty days, hand wash rather than using an automated car wash, avoid wax and polish on the repaired area, and rinse off bird droppings and tree sap promptly.

Making a claim

Email hello@crucibleautoworks.com or call (916) 555-0142 with your job reference and photographs of the issue. We will arrange for a technician to inspect it, usually at your address. If the claim is valid we repair it at no cost.
